MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Creating a course that is educationally rewarding and fun for my students is something I strive to do in all of the courses I teach.  Regardless of what, where, or to who I am teaching, I always try to do so with a high level of passion and excitement.  I truly enjoy working with and teaching others not just for the opportunity to help them learn, but to learn more myself.  Giving back and helping others has been an integral part of my life thus far, and it will continue to be an integral part of my future.

While there are many mottos that I model and craft my teaching around, I have one principle that I hold above all else:

“If you as a teacher are engaged in the class material, having fun and learning, then your students are more likely to do the same.”
